Maintenance Massage
By having a regular maintenance massage Melanie can concentrate on particular muscle groups that will help the client maintain or improve the range of motion and muscle flexibility.
Event Massages
Pre Event treatments are used to supplement the clients warm up, to enhance circulation and reduce excess muscle and mental tension prior to competing. This is not a replacement to the warm up.
Post Event treatments is used to reduce muscle tension, metabolic build up that occurs with lots of exercise and helps the recovery process after exercising. This will also help to reduce the risk of injury.
Rehabilitation
Sports massage can speed the healing and reduce discomfort during the rehabilitation process. The techniques used are effective in both acute and chronic injuries.
Trigger point techniques can reduce pain in the injured and secondary muscle. In all the techniques used the aim is to repair tissue and give better range of motion, leaving the client with improvements in pain management.
